This is how you change headlight bulbs in an '08-'12 Malibu.

Ha! I don't even need tools to change the bulbs in the S80. Which is good, because that thing loves to eat bulbs.

looks like a VW passat B6 with xenons. Do em both at once!

Holy shit... Not even my Tipo, with its super crammed engine bay, requires that much work. It's a pain to twist the bulbs in place, but at least it can be done without... that!

None of the front bulbs on my mom's Vue have gone out yet, but I have a feeling when they do this is what I'm gonna have to do.
I should show this to my friend who's mom has an '10 Malibu.

Bumper cover has to be off and housings out on a last gen Infiniti G35, too.

I have to remove about 6 million vacuum lines to remove my passenger side rear spark plug. And possibly my intake manifold, haven't had to do them yet, but it will be a nightmare.

this is what changing the bottom two bulbs for the signals (there are 4 total) is like on an IS300.

Well that explains why most of them have their high beams on at night, blinding the shit out of everyone.

Hello there!!

THIS.
Although, to be fair, VWs have always been hard to work on. And Chryslers from as far back as the late 90s had stupid design features like a battery that required removal of the driver's front tire to access.

I had to wrench on my friends old turbo pt cruiser sometimes and yeah that was when I started to learn how compact cars suck to work on.
Needless to say that was the first car I ever pulled an intake manifold on, to do the spark plugs.

Not sure if it's the same on a PT Cruiser, but on a Sebring, you have to remove the entire throttle linkage & MAF assembly, just to change out the air filter. I think the engineers at Chrysler compete for complexity or something. Or they've all been heavily bribed by charge-by-the-hour mechanics.

definitely not the same there and he put a CAI on his car so he didn't have to dick with the airbox anymore. The battery was under the intake, I remember that.

Thanks! Been neglecting it lately, though. I usually pop the hood every few days to wipe the dust away with a micro fiber.
